Physics Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist toward the development of cold atom sensors by laser cooling atoms to almost absolute zero, performing atom interferometry experiments, etc.
• Conduct experimental testing to understand the environmental effects on quantum sensors
• Analyze experimental data and propose appropriate methods to refine the quantum sensors

About you

• An absolutely driven individual with creative problem solving skills, analytical mind, and persistence, ideally demonstrated
• Curious and interested to learn about cold atom physics and push the limits of applying physics outside the laboratory environment
• Excited about interdisciplinary understanding of systems

Even better if you have

• Experience in cold atom physics theory or experiments
• Experience working with lasers and optics
• Working knowledge of Python
