Physics Application Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

. Lead projects from a hands-on perspective, managing all physical aspects from the detection reader unit

. Translate client requirements into detailed detection specifications

. Design experiments based on given specifications

. Conduct hands-on measurements, perform analysis and utilise simulations

. Prepare comprehensive reports summarising project findings, analysis and recommendations

. Responsible for supporting the development and execute the commercialisation of the tech application from POC to Industrial Roll-out for the SMX detection unit

. Develop integrated project plans for assigned project(s) with other SMX colleagues from the Marker, Reader and Blockchain teams

. To study and understand material(s) characteristics & processing methods/systems across various industries/companies

. Be involved in partaking in all aspects of the projects, from R&D, process engineering, scale up to production, regulatory and quality requirements

. Responsible for planning, executing and documenting all R&D experiments and tests

. Co-ordinating experimental activities with subcontractors and clients

. Writing professional documents for clients, subcontractors and stakeholders

. Preparing demonstrations to showcase tech applications on demand to stakeholders and potential clients

. Development of quick POC to showcase solutions for concept demos

. And any other task or duty which SMX may request

Client Delivery Responsibilities:

. Implement SMX technology at Clients facilities

. Adjust readers (both software and hardware) to align with application requirements

. Provide initial and periodic training to relevant client employees

. Deliver technical support to address any issues or concerns

. Ensure proper maintenance of readers

. Organise and manage local RSO and any relevant subcontractors
