As a member of our Physical Security team part of a global technology company you will provide technical support for global physical security systems, ensuring continuous operation of access control and video management platforms. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, system administration, and coordination with vendors and on-site technicians.
The Position
- Manage and resolve support tickets through the TASK system in a global environment.
- Diagnose and resolve common issues such as: Camera offline status, brightness, focus, and IP connectivity.
- Maintain and support security systems including Genetec, CCure 9000, and occasional intercom systems.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting related to security technologies.
- Conduct hands-on troubleshooting of physical security hardware (access control panels, IP cameras, sensors, electric locks).
- Provision and revoke system access as needed.
- Respond promptly to service outages and restore functionality, collaborating with cross-functional teams when required.
- Assist with global security workstation setups and special configurations.
The Candidate
- 12 years of experience with physical security systems (Access Control, Video Management, Cameras, Intercoms, Key Management).
- Familiarity with Software House CCure 9000 and Genetec (certification required within 90 days of hire).
- Basic networking knowledge (training available on the job).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to learning.
