Redstone Commodity Search is working with a leading global brokerage firm seeking to hire a Physical Dry Shipbroker to join their expanding Singapore office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-established international platform covering freight, bulk commodities, metals, and energy markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Broker physical dry cargo vessels across relevant size segments (Handymax / Supramax / Panamax), managing negotiations between charterers and shipowners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, traders, and market participants across global dry cargo markets.
- Drive revenue growth by originating new business opportunities and expanding the existing client base.
- Provide clients with daily market intelligence, price discovery, and written market reports.
- Monitor market trends and identify new product or trade opportunities aligned with the broader desk strategy.
- Ensure adherence to internal risk, compliance, and company policies while maintaining high professional standards.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven track record in Dry Cargo shipbroking, with demonstrable commercial success.
- Strong understanding of global dry bulk markets and vessel segments (Handymax / Supramax / Panamax essential).
- Established client relationships within the dry shipping sector.
