Develop and maintain automated test programs for photonic test systems using C# and Python
Perform optical and electrical testing for silicon photonics devices. Set up and troubleshoot hardware connections for optical instruments, electrical instruments, fiber arrays, probes, and measurement equipment
Support tester operation, calibration, debugging, and system integration
Analyze test data and work with the team to improve measurement quality and repeatability
Participate in improvement and automation projects to optimize test time and tester performance
Collaborate closely with engineers across different shifts to ensure smooth operation and knowledge sharing
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields
Knowledge or interest in:
Silicon photonics testing and measurement systems
Automation and instrumentation
Programming experience in C# and/or Python
Hands-on mindset and comfortable working with hardware and instruments
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Team player with strong communication skills
Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment
Additional Attributes
Experience with optical testing or photonics devices
Familiarity with instruments such as lasers, power meters, oscilloscopes, source meters, etc.
Experience with automation frameworks or test development
Interest in building custom tools, fixtures, or engineering improvement projects
