We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Photographer Assistant to help our team create exceptional visual content for our clients. In this role, you will collaborate closely with photographers on set, managing technical tasks efficiently and ensuring every shoot runs smoothly while keeping clients comfortable and confident throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the photographer during photo sessions to ensure efficient workflow
- Set up and maintain studio equipment, including lighting and props
- Assist with client posing guidance and coordinate props to enhance photo quality
- Manage file backups and perform initial photo selection and organization
- Retouch and edit photos based on customer preferences and project requirements
- Ensure smooth operations during client sessions and studio events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio, including proper storage of equipment and inventory
Requirements:
- Friendly and approachable personality, with a positive attitude
- Enjoys working with babies and young children
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, with strong editing and retouching skills
- Basic knowledge on use of DSLR camera, camera equipment and lighting
- Strong attention to detail and visual aesthetics
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work collaboratively
- Physically able to carry and set up equipment comfortable with some lifting
- Available to work on weekends
