- You will perform blood-taking procedures (venepuncture) to collect blood specimens for laboratory investigations at the inpatient setting (mainly adult & geriatric) in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) and Integrated Care Hub (ICH).
- You will also support sectional initiatives to review and improve work processes to achieve organisational goals.
- You will also conduct HIV screen interviews for patients.
- You will also be expected to support the Section Leader in other operational and administrative matters.
Requirements- Have a keen interest in blood-taking (venepuncture)
- No experience needed as training will be provided
- Able to work independently and can be a team player
- Possess good communication skills
- Able to work 2 rotating-shifts which includes weekends and public holidays. Working hours are as follows (based on roster pattern) :
- 7am - 4pm
- 8am - 5pm
- 3pm - 9.30pm (PM shift)
Please note that this role is a
full time position. At this point in time, we do not offer clinical placement for live blood draws toward achieving the certificate of venipuncture.
