Phlebotomist

Job Scope:

• Perform venepuncture for the collection of blood specimens

• Sorts and records all blood specimens collected and dispatched to the laboratory

• Practice Universal Precautions throughout the procedure

• Assist to identify and implement changes in the work processes of the phlebotomy service

• Perform any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• A Higher Nitec or Diploma in any discipline

• Candidate with a cert in phlebotomy is at advantage

• Able to work independently
