Roles and Responsibility:
- Responsible for the skillful, timely and accurate collection of blood specimens from various patient ages as requested by the clinician using any appropriate techniques listed below:
- Venipuncture & Dripping method
- Capillary collection-fingerpick/heelprick
- Blood culture specimen collection
- Adhere an experience venipuncture skill for adults, pediatric and infant.
- Rotate duties between hospitals as determine by manager.
- Courteous and exhibit genuine concern for patients.
- Responsible for overall performance of location assigned
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the management.
Job Requirements:
- Certificate in Phlebotomy and/or recognized diploma in Nursing
- At least 3 years phlebotomy experience in pediatric/infant
- Must be able to travel between sites and main laboratory.
- At least 3 years supervisory experience in a similar industry
- Good knowledge in phlebotomist's SOP and best practices
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently as well as a team.
