Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

• Assist in the preparation, dilution, and reconstitution of chemotherapy drugs using Laminar Airflow HEPA Filter Isolators.
• Support medication dispensing under supervision in accordance with company SOPs and safety standards.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemotherapy and controlled drugs.
• Maintain accurate patient treatment records and documentation.
• Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment, expiry monitoring, and ordering of medications.
• Assist in clinical trial drug dispensing and related documentation.
• Promote medication safety and provide basic medication counselling to patients where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Clinic Nurse Manager or Senior Pharmacy Technician.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science.
• Experience in oncology or chemotherapy preparation preferred.
• Knowledge of safe medication handling and inventory management.
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working hours: Mondays to Fridays (8.30 am to 5.30 pm) & alternate Saturdays (8.30 am to 1.00 pm)
