- Inpatient/Outpatient Facilities:Join our team in inpatient or outpatient facilities, where you'll ensure timely and accurate dispensing of medications to support patient care.
- Step Down Care/Community Centers:Extend your expertise to step-down care facilities or community centers, assisting in medication management and promoting adherence to treatment plans.
Job Duties
- Dispense prescribed medication to patients accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Provide patients with clear instructions and advice on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Verify patient identities and ensure that medications are dispensed correctly to the right individuals, maintaining strict adherence to patient safety standards.
- Assist pharmacists with any ad-hoc duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the pharmacy department.
- Participate in stock checks and replenishment activities to maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure seamless medication supply.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
