Responsibilities
- Manage inbound stock receipt, conducting thorough checks and repacking as necessary. Process medication orders and prescriptions in compliance with established standards. Conduct quality assurance checks on selected medications/orders and prepare them for delivery. Collaborate with the informatics team to support the effective implementation of IT and automation systems. Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and stock takes. Carry out billing procedures for provided services. Coordinate deliveries to healthcare institutions or patients, managing reconciliation, handover, and issue resolution. Assist with general housekeeping tasks and management of pharmacy consumables. Support the execution of quality improvement initiatives. Assist in training and orienting newly assigned staff members. If appointed as a team leader, help to manage operations in the designated section. Undertake additional duties as required, providing cross-functional support as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or a Certificate in Pharmacy Technician course from the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore, or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Background in medication delivery processes, pharmacy automation setup, or outpatient pharmacy operations is advantageous. Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Proficient in inventory management systems and MS Office applications.
