Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Pharmacy Retail Associate, where you'll deliver exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth operation of a retail pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Ensure prompt opening of the store and readiness of computer systems. Monitor customer flow and actively work to minimize wait times. Prepare and manage cash float, operating the cash register efficiently. Promote weekly specials and engage in effective selling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization in retail areas and storage spaces. Uphold store security regarding stock and sensitive information at all times. Keep accurate records and ensure proper maintenance of pharmacy equipment. Monitor stock levels, replenish goods, and conduct cycle counts and stock takes. Perform goods receipts and handle inter-branch transfers and error reports. Maintain daily sales records and perform data entry in the inventory system. Assist in compiling and filing retail documents meticulously. Help generate monthly reports for analysis and checks. Coach and orient new staff on operational workflows and pharmacy functions. Conduct briefings for promoters as required. Engage in workplace improvement projects and other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Requirements

GCE N or O level qualification. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a retail environment. Excellent customer service skills with strong interpersonal abilities. A self-motivated team player with a proactive attitude. Willingness to work a non-shift schedule for a 5.5 days work week.
