Permanent Senior Occupational Therapist
Roles & Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Perform independent Occupational Therapy evaluations for clients, focusing on physical functioning, cognitive health, caregiver capabilities, and environmental safety within professional regulatory guidelines.
- Evaluate client abilities, daily routines, rehabilitation potential, equipment requirements, and long-term care goals to create personalized intervention plans.
- Design and execute strategies that maximize client independence, safety, dignity, and engagement in daily activities. This includes therapy for daily living skills, safe mobility/transfers, upper limb rehabilitation, positioning, and cognitive support.
- Evaluate, recommend, and prescribe appropriate assistive technology, adaptive devices, mobility aids, and environmental modifications to ensure a safe living and care environment.
- Support clients requiring specialized equipment, such as motorized mobility devices, pressure-relief aids, specialized seating, and manual or mechanical hoists.
- Educate and train family members and caregivers on safe handling, transferring techniques, fall prevention strategies, and how to use prescribed medical equipment properly.
- Deliver specialized, compassionate therapeutic interventions aimed at optimizing comfort, reducing distress, and preserving dignity for clients with advanced or life-limiting illnesses.
- Actively participate in clinical discussions and provide timely reports to doctors, nurses, social workers, and other care team members to ensure seamless, holistic care.
- Maintain timely, precise, and thorough documentation regarding clinical findings, recommended interventions, equipment setups, and caregiver training progress
Education & Training
- Participate in ongoing continuing education and professional research to ensure clinical practices remain aligned with industry advancements.
- Plan, design, and deliver relevant clinical training sessions and workshops for internal care staff and volunteers.
- Support department growth by contributing to clinical audits and conducting in-service education.
- Take a leading or collaborative role in research initiatives and quality improvement projects across clinical teams.
Administration & Operations
- Effectively address and manage feedback from clients, families, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the planning and execution of new clinical services and programmatic rollouts.

- Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per visit
- Commencement Period: FY2026
- Senior therapist are welcome to apply
- Bachelor or Masters in Occupational Therapy
- Must be a Fully Registered AHPC ( Singapore )
- Possession of at least 5 years of relevant clinical experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity
