Job Description

We are actively hiring for a client in a Adult Disability Home setting in Singapore and we wish to invite interested therapist to apply the role.

Job Code: SDRC16/01/PT

Clinical Care

  • Assess residents with disabilities to identify physiotherapy needs and set functional goals.

  • Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, function, and independence.

  • Deliver appropriate interventions including exercise programmes, mobility training, and pain management.

  • Track resident progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

  • Work closely with nursing, medical, and allied health teams to provide coordinated, holistic care.

  • Participate in care reviews, case discussions, and family conferences, contributing professional rehabilitation input.

  • Train and guide care staff on safe handling and therapy-related support in daily care routines.

Resident Engagement & Advocacy

  • Encourage resident participation and independence in daily activities.

  • Educate residents and families on physical health, functional abilities, and assistive devices.

Leadership & Supervision (Senior Physiotherapist)

  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior physiotherapists and therapy assistants.

  • Lead case discussions, clinical audits, and best practice sharing.

  • Mentor and supervise physiotherapy students during clinical placements.

Allied Health Coordination

  • Coordinate locum and outsourced allied health services to ensure continuity and quality of care.

  • Liaise with external providers and monitor service standards, escalating concerns where necessary.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and progress notes.

  • Prepare reports for audits, care meetings, and management reviews.

Administration & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to professional, regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.

  • Maintain therapy equipment and ensure treatment areas are safe and functional.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain licensure.

Additional Duties

  • Support onboarding and orientation of new staff.

  • Perform first aid when required in line with emergency procedures.

  • Assist the Head of Home and care team with other relevant duties within professional scope.

Project Schedule

  • FY2026
  • 5 full days per week (8.30am - 5.30pm), 8 hours per visit
  • Bachelor or Masters in Physiotherapy
  • Must be a Fully Registered AHPC ( Singapore )
