- Provide peri-operative nursing care before, during and after surgery.
- Assess, plan and evaluate patient care to ensure safe surgical outcomes.
- Perform circulating and scrub nursing duties in the Operating Room.
- Handle and maintain specialized surgical equipment while ensuring proper sterilisation and traceability.
- Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and the multidisciplinary team.
- Support clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and the training of junior nurses.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Practising Certificate.
- Minimum .3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience.
- Post-Basic/Advanced Diploma in Peri-operative Nursing is an advantage.
