A Singaporean company with production facilities in Singapore and Vietnam, specializing in the creation and manufacturing of flavors and fragrances for food and beverage industry. Our plants have been selling throughout Southeast Asia countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. We are looking for Senior Sales to join the team in Thailand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cross-Category Fragrance Creation: Create and optimize innovative fragrance formulas tailored to a wide range of applications, including Personal Care, Body Care, Home/Fabric Care, and Fine Fragrances.
- Formula Adaptation & Core Base Scaling: Simplify complex fragrance profiles, adapt signature scents across multiple product categories (e.g., transforming a fine fragrance concept into a stable personal care or functional base), and master olfactive schemas.
- GCMS Interpretation & Reconstruction: Skillfully interpret analytical data (GCMS) from Perfumer Analysts to reconstruct, optimize, and adapt existing formulas for market trends, regulatory updates, or cost optimization.
- Technical Problem Solving: Address and resolve complex technical challenges including fragrance stability, discoloration, and chemical interactions within various functional or surfactant bases.
- Cross-Functional & Panel Validation: Partner closely with the Evaluation department to guide olfactive validation stages, sensory panels, and performance testing across complex bases.
- Client & Commercial Pitching: Act as the technical and creative expert during client presentations, effectively translating brand visions and technical performance into successful olfactive realities.
- Regulatory Compliance & Portfolio Management: Ensure all formulas strictly comply with global regulatory frameworks (IFRA guidelines) and regional constraints while leveraging ingredient portfolios effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Perfumery, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related scientific field.
- Professional Training: Graduate of a recognized, reputable perfumery school or a structured internal corporate perfumery program.
- Experience: minimum 5 years of professional experience in fragrance creation, with a proven track record of developing fragrances across multiple product categories (strong focus on Personal Care, Home Care, Detergent, Fabric Softener or Functional applications).
- Technical Skills: * Exceptional olfactory acuity and deep understanding of raw materials (aroma chemicals and naturals).
- Strong technical knowledge of fragrance stability, volatility, and performance behavior in diverse, complex bases.
- Proficient in using GCMS data for practical formula optimization and cost-effective design.
- Fluent in English
