About the Role
As a Performance & Project Implementation Manager within StormGeo s Fleet Performance Center, you will play a key role in helping our customers optimize vessel performance through data-driven insights while ensuring the successful implementation and onboarding of vessels onto StormGeo s digital performance platform.
Our solution s-Insight has become the largest fleet performance solution globally with a growing fleet of 5,500 vessels from 300+ customers around the globe. We have established our performance centers in Hamburg and Singapore. To meet increasing demand, we are searching for an analytically and conceptually strong professional for our Asian team.
You will report to the Head of Fleet Performance Center Singapore. This position is based in Singapore.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the team responsible for vessel setup in the company's online portal, ensuring timely and accurate project onboarding and successful handover to the Performance Manager.
- Monitor customers vessels, identify performance differences among vessels and their causes based on client and industry data.
- Process and analyze large amounts of data by using modern Business Intelligence Tools.
- Find patterns and draw conclusions on improvement levers for shipping companies based on data analysis.
- Report findings and advise on improvement actions in written form or in direct client meetings/workshops.
- Implement tools and processes for the Performance Center including training with new customers.
- Further structure and define service scope and deliverables for a performance advise / fleet performance center service.
- Provide technical support to Sales through client demonstrations, trial execution, and performance evaluations to facilitate new business opportunities.
Core Requirements
- Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent education.
- Experience in the shipping industry focusing on vessel performance, fuel efficiency, or environmental compliance.
- Motivated by working with clients and in an interdisciplinary team.
- Good access to and understanding modern IT technology & software.
- Analytical and conceptual strong mindset.
- Perceived as inspiring and confident by colleagues and client personnel on different levels.
- Proficient in the use of Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Codex, and other AI-assisted productivity platforms to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
- Proficient in Python for developing, automating, and maintaining vessel performance analysis tools and data processing solutions.
