Scope of role:

The role sits within OMD's performance team. The team has a market-leading position in implementational / executional management. As a performance planner, you will be tasked with the planning, optimization and activation of digital campaigns.

Reporting Structure:

  • You report to the Performance Director / Performance Manager in the team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, setup and manage all digital advertising channels primarily Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing Ads), TikTok and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Monitor and optimize channels and campaigns to achieve business objectives with efficiencies and scale
  • Assist in the preparation and rationale of performance marketing recommendations and annual plan presentations
  • Ensure budgets are tracked and spent efficiently
  • Perform data analysis and provide thought leadership based on consumer insights where relevant
  • Comfortable dealing with numbers and dealing with technology platforms, ability to articulate and put together sound recommendations
  • Develop and update client performance reports and analyse and format data, gather costs, supply insights and commentary. Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Competency with figures and simple calculations - including pivot tables, charts and formulae
  • Use Microsoft Excel to manipulate data and create client facing reports for Search, Display, YouTube, Social
  • Own budget planning & tracking (media finance) for the campaigns under your belt

Required Skills:

  • Min 1 -2 years of digital planning experience (ideally experience working on performance skewed accounts)
  • Min 1-2 years experience in social set up and optimization.
  • Minimum 1 year of planning experience, with exposure in omnichannel (Programmatic, Offline, etc.) planning considered a plus
  • Basic experience of pulling Campaign Manager Floodlight reports is required
  • Knowledge of Programmatic (DV360, TTD) media planning and setup is a plus
  • Knowledge in SEM planning and activation (bonus)
  • Attention to detail is a must; accuracy in work is the top KPI
  • Able to articulate and communicate clearly and persuasively
  • Able to multitask and manage expectations of multiple stakeholders
  • Digital savvy, with specific proficiency at MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
