Role Purpose

The Performance Manager is responsible for driving performance media excellence. This role acts as the strategic integrator for performanceplanning, building a community of practice among Performance Integrators from other markets and ensuring a consistent, innovative, and holistic approach to performance briefs. The manager will lead digital initiatives, strengthen knowledge-sharing across markets, and support the broader Innovation & Thought Leadership agenda.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning Integration

  • Establish consistent performance strategy frameworks.
  • Ensure cohesive and high-quality responses to performance briefs, inclusive of innovation frameworks.

2. Project Leadership

  • Lead key global digital projects from end to end (e.g., propensity audience frameworks, funnel transformation initiatives).
  • Build robust project plans with clearly defined milestones and ensure timely, high-quality execution.

3. Performance Excellence

  • Provide subject-matter expertise across paid search, paid social, programmatic, retail media, and emerging platforms.
  • Review plans to ensure alignment with global strategy, KPIs, and quality standards.

4. Governance & Reporting

  • Partner with analytics and data teams to ensure robust measurement and reporting frameworks.
  • Maintain global governance standards across markets, including tagging hygiene, bidding strategy consistency, media quality, and optimisation protocols.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and drive performance maturity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 57+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, preferably in a regional agency environment.
  • Strong command of paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, DV360, TikTok).
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-market or global project management.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation abilities.
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, organised, and solutions-oriented.
