REQUIREMENTS SPECIFICATION FOR PEOPLESOFT ADMINISTRATOR
Scope of services:
a) Install, configure, administer, upgrade, and maintain PeopleSoft components, including Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, Secure Sockets Layer(SSL), and middleware running on Windows infrastructure.
b) Perform PeopleSoft bundle patching, maintenance updates, and People Tools upgrades.
c) Monitor the PeopleSoft environment for system performance, resource utilization, availability, and overall system health, including proactive performance tuning.
d) Provide application and technical support, bug fixes, and remediation for vulnerabilities and security issues affecting existing systems.
e) Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the PeopleSoft environment, including network, software, hardware, operating system, middleware, and connectivity.
f) Develop, implement, and support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for PeopleSoft databases and applications.
g) Maintain and keep up to date all technical documentation related to the PeopleSoft environment, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
h) Work closely with application developers, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to understand and support business and technical requirements.
i) Develop and implement scripts and automation for routine administration, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting activities.
j) Perform user administration, security configuration, role management, and access control within the PeopleSoft environment.
k) Personnel deployed shall possess strong PeopleSoft administration skills and hands-on experience in administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, patching, and upgrading People Tools and related middleware components.
Required qualifications and competencies:
a) A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent relevant certification.
b) At least five (5) years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft administration.
c) Completion of at least one (1)People Tools upgrade within the last two (2) years.
d) Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous and well-organized approach to work.
e) Experience in Microsoft SQL Server database administration and Microsoft Azure Cloud would be an added advantage.
f) Knowledge and hands-on experience in managing Windows operating systems would be an added advantage.
g) Good knowledge and experience in PowerShell scripting.
h) Knowledge and hands-on experience in administering and configuring Path lock.
i) Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
j) A positive work attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
