About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Ops Partner to drive human resources operations, payroll management, and corporate administration across multiple countries.

This role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless employee experience across the full lifecycle, maintaining compliance with local labour laws, and enabling efficient operational processes across jurisdictions. You will partner closely with Finance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability in our people operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong multi-country People Ops experience, a solid understanding of international payroll, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

People Operations

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers) across multiple countries
  • Maintain and update HR policies in line with local labour laws and company practices
  • Support performance reviews, employee engagement initiatives, and HR reporting
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees on People-related topics
  • Ensure employee data is accurate, compliant, and confidential

Payroll & Compliance

  • Oversee and coordinate monthly payroll across multiple jurisdictions
  • Work with external payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Validate payroll inputs (salaries, bonuses, commissions, taxes, deductions)
  • Ensure compliance with local tax, labour, and statutory requirements
  • Partner with Finance on payroll reconciliation and reporting

People Ops & Administration

  • Improve and scale People Ops processes, systems, and documentation
  • Support international expansion and new market setup
  • Assist with office operations, vendors, and internal events (Singapore)
  • Support leadership on workplace planning and office-related projects

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in People Ops, HR operations, payroll, or similar roles
  • Proven experience managing multi-country payroll or regional People Operations
  • Strong understanding of labour laws, payroll processes, and compliance across jurisdictions
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work across different countries
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems

Nice to have

  • Experience working in fast-growing international companies or startups
  • Exposure to global operations across APAC, Europe, or the US
  • Experience working with external payroll providers or EOR partners
  • Strong Excel or reporting skills
