Role Description:

The Specialist People Operations is responsible for providing high quality support to our Booking colleagues as a first line of support for employee queries, as well as through the administration of employee changes across the hire-to-retire cycle. By staying closely connected to key stakeholders, and leveraging the data and feedback received through our colleagues queries, the role focuses on continuously improving our processes and ways of working. As a guiding principle, employee experience is kept at the center of the Specialist's role.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure employee queries are resolved as tier 1 support within agreed upon SLAs, Objectives and KPIs;
  • Partner with key stakeholders on employee queries requiring input and guidance from them;
  • Administers employee changes across the hire-to-retire cycle in our People Systems;
  • Ensures employee documentation is provided to employees in line with established SLAs, as well as stored as per the relevant legal guidelines and process;
  • Liaise with external (payroll) provider to safeguard correct employee registration with local authorities;
  • Continuously seek ways to improve existing processes, including systems and tooling to fit with evolving requests from the business and drive efficiency;
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly payroll report validations to safeguard correct monthly payout;
  • Execute processes, procedures and documents in line with standard operating procedures as well as compliant with global & local employment law and legislation;
  • Provide training to new hires, stakeholders and employees on People Ops processes;
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure relevant HR content and guides remain up to date;
  • Act as People Ops project member in People Department initiatives
  • Is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their account.

Qualifications & Skills:


  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent job experience;
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in People Operations;
  • Experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders across the HR functions;
  • Strong understanding of HRIS systems, Workday experience preferred;
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team member;
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Passion for continuous improvement of our service to employees as well as of our core processes;
  • Ability to manage work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • A flexible, positive and problem-solving mindset; versatility to adapt to changes.
