JOB SUMMARY :
Support and drive GAR's People Development initiatives whilst promoting and reinforcing an engaged workforce, performing specialist HR functions in Employee Engagement Learning & Development Performance Management and supporting the Talent Management function. This role reports into the AVP - Talent Management & Strategy and is an individual contributor role.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employee Engagement
- Lead in the company's employee engagement initiatives and create plans for the yearly activities.
- Develop budget and calendar for the yearly engagement activities and execution on the plans.
- Custodian for company's internal communication platform and produce monthly communications materials for dissemination.
- Lead in the entire process and follow-up for the bi-yearly employee engagement survey.
People Development
- Drive a learning culture within the organisation and promote/execute the learning interventions and training programs developed for the workforce (SG and Overseas). Evaluate, seek feedback and tweek programs. Make recommendations on relevant learning interventions with a view to promote a learning culture.
- Introduce the new Learning Competency Framework and ensure execution of employees Individual Development Plan.
- Provide advice to employees on matters relating to training and development.
- Onboard new hires by triggering mandatory e-learning modules, and conduct face-to-face HR orientation
- Undertake full spectrum of in-house training including course outline / materials development, registration and training delivery etc.
- Drive the annual training needs analysis to determine soft skills training, plan training schedule and invite course registrations.
- Manage the entire spectrum of training administration for both in-house/external training.
- Work on the project to introduce the Company's Learning Management System in Singapore and at destination offices.
Performance Management
- Drive and manage the Company's Performance Management System, covering activities for the administration of goal setting and year-end performance review.
- Promote and deliver appropriate interventions so as to ensure employees understand the importance of performance management, write SMART goals, enable regular performance-based discussions / feedback and effectively participate in the year end performance appraisal.
- Work on projects to review and enhance the performance management process.
Talent Management
- Provide support in the execution and maintenance of the Company's Talent Management Framework.
- Manage talent programs that is aimed at filling leadership pipeline and/or growing employees career (eg. GAR Management Associate Program)
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Business (human resources) or related field
- At least 5 - 7 years of relevant working experience gained as HR generalist, or in specialised HR functions L&D, engagement, performance management etc.
- Keen to expand career (deep dive) in a HR specialist role.
- Qualified trainer holding relevant trainer certifications (e.g. ACTA) and strong background in L&D.
- Experience and proven track record in implementing and driving employee engagement activities.
- Well versed in Government funding and skills framework
- Experience using Workday and use of IT tools such as Canva, menti-metre, etc would be a plus.
