Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

We are a fast-growing clean-tech maritime startup building next-generation electric vessels and energy infrastructure solutions. To support our team while our People & Culture Manager is on maternity leave, we're looking for a hands-on, adaptable People & Culture Executive.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to deepen their HR experience, contribute to meaningful people initiatives, and be mentored in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

. Support the employee lifecycle, including preparation of contracts, onboarding, confirmation, and monthly payroll administration.

. Assist with recruitment, talent acquisition and onboarding cycle, from preparing job description, job postings, interview coordination, onboarding of new hires, assets allocation.

. Manage day-to-day HR operations, including staff leave administration, medical claims, government grant claims.

. Maintain manpower budget forecasts and staff welfare budgets, ensuring accurate reporting as required.

. Perform monthly payroll administration, including preparation of bank files, payroll reports, documentation, and timely CPF submissions.

. Ensure accurate upkeep of the InfoTech HRM system, including staff announcements, HR letters, P-Files, and organised documentation of employee records.

. Maintain proper record-keeping, and update the staff handbook and compliance forms as required.

. Manage internship administration, including documentation, onboarding, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.

. Drive recruitment outreach campaigns, including preparation of collaterals and coordination of activities.

. Collaborate with staff on people & culture/ employer branding initiatives, such as creative videos, content creation, and staff stories that showcase our culture.

. Propose and coordinate staff welfare and engagement activities (e.g. team events, well-being initiatives).

. Serve as a friendly and approachable point of contact for employee HR queries.

. Support with any other duties as assigned by the People & Culture Manager or Chief Corporate Officer.

Key Requirements:

. Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

. 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in HR operations, recruitment, or generalist roles.

. Experience with HRM systems (e.g. InfoTech) and payroll administration is an advantage.

. Strong understanding of Singapore's employment regulations, CPF submissions, and government claims processes.

. Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a people-first mindset.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
