Pentester (IoT Device)

I am looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – IoT Device Security Testing in Singapore and this is a permanent opportunity with a leading cybersecurity organization to support their work on IoT device.

In this role, you will conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis on embedded and IoT devices, while ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and relevant cybersecurity frameworks. You will also be responsible for preparing technical reports and advisories, researching emerging IoT threats, and collaborating with regulatory bodies and certification authorities to strengthen cybersecurity testing methodologies.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with at a few years of experience in cybersecurity testing, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessment, preferably within IoT or embedded systems, and has a working understanding of CLS requirements. Exposure to tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or Ghidra, along with experience in protocol analysis (e.g., Bluetooth, Zigbee, WiFi), debug interfaces like JTAG or UART, binary analysis, or mobile app security (Android/iOS), will be advantageous.

Candidates with knowledge of hardware attack techniques such as fault injection or power analysis, as well as certifications like OSCP, or GSEC, will be highly regarded.
