Pega Technical Project Manager (PM) acts as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, leading end-to-end Pega project delivery while ensuring technical, architectural, and quality standards (e.g., guardrails) are met. Responsibilities include managing Agile/Scrum processes, handling risk mitigation, driving design decisions, and overseeing implementation to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Drive architectural solutions, ensure adherence to Pega best practices, and guide engineers in technical requirements.
Project Management: Define scope, manage budgets, create detailed project schedules, and provide status reporting to stakeholders.
Agile Governance: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and manage product backlogs.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and architects to ensure alignment with business requirements.
System Knowledge: Utilize Pega tools (e.g., Tracer, Clipboard, PAL, SMA) for debugging and performance optimization.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Generally 5+ years of PM experience, with at least 5 years specifically in Pega implementation projects.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Pega BPM/CRM platforms, case management, and cloud deployment.
Certification is highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
