Description
We are looking for an experienced Pega Developer with a strong background in low-code application development and front-end technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Pega development, with additional skills in Angular for front-end development and Java or other backend languages. This role will involve developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications using Pega and other relevant technologies, contributing to a high-performance Agile team.
Responsibilities
- Pega Development: Design, develop, and implement applications on the Pega platform, participating in all phases of the project development lifecycle.
- Front-End Development: Work with Angular to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience.
- Backend Integration: Collaborate on backend development using Java, Python, or Node.js as needed for full-stack solutions.
- Version Control: Use Git for version control, ensuring consistent and secure code management practices.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- CI/CD & Cloud Integration: Engage in continuous integration/continuous deployment processes and work with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP for scalable solutions.
- Containerization & Serverless Frameworks: Utilize Docker and other container technologies, as well as serverless frameworks, to improve application efficiency.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Use tools like Figma to wireframe and prototype applications, ensuring smooth and clear communication of design ideas.
- Unit Testing: Implement unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Primary Skills:
- Strong experience with Pega (primary skill), including hands-on experience in at least one full project development lifecycle.
- Pega certification(s) preferred for higher consideration.
- Secondary Skills:
- Experience with Angular for front-end development.
- Familiarity with backend technologies, including Java, Python, and Node.js.
- Additional Skills:
- Experience with Agile processes, CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with Docker, serverless frameworks, and low-code development tools.
- Experience with wireframing/prototyping tools like Figma.
- Testing & Development Practices: Knowledge of unit testing and best practices in software development.
