They have set up a R&D Competence Center in Singapore to better cope with the arising global market demand. The focus of the new R&D Competence Center in Singapore will lay on the business areas of sensor technology and power electronics for serving the energy, building and factory sectors.
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of PCB Design Engineer. Someone with a proven track record and a genuine interest in testing electronics and power electronics products, including, but not limited to, sensors, industrial power supplies, power converters, etc. If you bring a wealth of experience in product management, coupled with a passion for advancing electronics and power electronics, we welcome you to apply for this role.
Your scope of tasks & responsibilities
- Support hardware developers on board schematic capture fulfilling design requirements
- Responsibility for PCB layout in Cadence Allegro
- Manage the layout design review prior to design release
- Prepare and release all PCB documentation, and ensure the project timeline is met
- CAD library administration including symbol, footprint generation and database administration
- Creation of components and PCBAs 3D models and liaising with Mechanical Engineers on design constraints
- Liaise with PCB manufacturers to clarify design requirements and resolve problem encountered
- Liaise with Process Engineers of the product factory to clarify design requirements and resolve problems encountered during PCB assemblies
Your professional profile -qualifications & competences-
- Minimum Degree/ Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering with 5 years working experiences in PCB layout design
- Knowledge in Cadence Allegro, Altium or any other electronics design software
- Experience in high speed, mixed signal, power and RF board design would be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of IPC-2221
- Good interpersonal skills to work with team members
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and efficiently
