Job Description

Role Purpose

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support the delivery of our HR Services portfolio in Singapore. This role is responsible for end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and delivering accurate, timely payroll services for employees and client.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Processing & Service Delivery

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle for employees and contractors under EOR, Staffing, and Payroll Outsourcing.
  • Ensure accuracy in calculating basic salary, allowances, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Generate and distribute payslips, payroll registers, and reconciliation reports for internal management and client review.
  • Deliver payroll services in line with Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and client-specific requirements.

2. Payroll Solution Implementation & Client Support

  • Support the setup and onboarding of payroll, including requirements gathering, payroll system configuration, and parallel runs.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth transition of payroll services.
  • Act as a payroll subject-matter expert (SME), advising clients on payroll regulations, statutory obligations, and best practices.
  • Provide first-line support for payroll-related queries from employees, contractors, and clients.

3. Statutory Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure full compliance with Singapore's statutory requirements, including:
  • Prepare and submit all statutory filings and contributions accurately and on time.
  • Manage year-end payroll reporting
  • Support payroll-related audits and compliance reviews, providing accurate data and reports.

4. Data Management & Finance Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and contractor records in payroll databases/HRIS.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports.
  • Collaborate with Finance on billing, invoicing, credit control, and payroll cost reconciliations.

5. Continuous Improvement & Payroll Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency through automation or system improvements.
  • Stay updated on changes in Singapore labor, tax, and statutory regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Participate in system implementation projects (new HRIS or payroll software), including UAT, migration, and rollout.
