This full-time, on-site Payroll Specialist role in Singapore manages payroll operations to ensure accurate, timely employee pay and compliance with regulations. The role involves handling payroll taxes, benefits deductions, garnishments, recordkeeping, and collaborating with HR and finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule to ensure timely compensation
- Ensure payroll operations comply with applicable laws and regulations in Singapore
- Manage payroll taxes, benefits deductions, and garnishments to maintain compliance and accuracy
- Maintain detailed and accurate payroll records for audit and reporting purposes
- Prepare payroll reports to support HR and finance decision-making
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related inquiries and ensure smooth payroll processing
- Utilize payroll software and tools proficiently to manage payroll services efficiently
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Manage time effectively to meet payroll deadlines consistently
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 10 years experience in payroll processing and administration
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations in Singapore
