Job Title: Payroll & Human Resource Executive
Reporting To: Assistant HR Manager
Job Summary
The Payroll & HR Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing and supporting daily HR operations. This role focuses on handling high-volume, bi-weekly payroll for cleaners, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations, and timely salary disbursement.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Process bi-weekly payroll: 1st-15th payout on 22nd &16th-end payout on 7th
- Compute overtime (OT), rest day, public holiday pay, allowances, and deductions
- Verify timesheets and attendance with Operations team
- Prepare payslips, payroll reports, and bank submission files
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations and company policies
Labour Deployment (LD)
- Prepare and submit daily Labour Deployment (LD) reports
- Track manpower deployment and attendance across job sites
- Liaise with Operations team to ensure accurate manpower records
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records and the HR database
- Handle onboarding and offboarding (contracts, orientation)
- Manage leave, attendance, and medical records
- Support recruitment coordination and interview scheduling
- Ensure employees are assigned to the correct job sites and designations, and maintain accurate updates in the HR system on a monthly basis.
General HR Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries
- Address staff enquiries on payroll and HR matters
- Maintain proper HR documentation and filing systems
- Perform ad-hoc HR and administrative duties as assigned
- Support any other duties assigned by the superior
Requirements
- Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in payroll or HR operations
- Experience in handling high-volume payroll will be an advantage
- Familiarity with Singapore MOM regulations and the Employment Act
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems
- Experience in Info-Tech HRMS or similar HR/payroll systems will be an advantage
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work within tight timelines
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information
