Job Title: Payroll HRIS Specialist
Location:Singapore
Role Overview
We are looking for a Payroll HRIS Specialist to lead payroll and Time & Attendance (T&A) design, implementation, and governance, integrated with Workday and third-party payroll systems. This role will partner with HR, Finance, IT, Global Business Services, and vendors to deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as SME for payroll systems, processes, and T&A integration
- Map and standardize payroll processes with local compliance requirements
- Ensure statutory compliance, payroll controls, and data privacy
- Manage Workday and system integrations, data flows, and reconciliations
- Partner with vendors and stakeholders for smooth payroll operations
- Lead testing phases (SIT, UAT, parallel runs) and resolve defects
- Oversee data migration, cutover, and go-live activities
- Deliver payroll reporting, analytics, and dashboards
- Provide training, change management, and adoption support
- Identify and mitigate risks; maintain governance and audit standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years in payroll operations and/or payroll system implementations, with at least one end-to-end deployment
- Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments preferred
- Hands-on expertise with HRIS platforms (preferably Workday) and payroll/T&A systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Ramco)
- Strong knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations, CPF, IRAS, SDL/SHG, labor laws, and PDPA compliance
- Skilled in payroll processing, reconciliations, funding, and SOX/ICFR-compliant controls
- Experience in system integrations, APIs, and secure file transfers
- Proven experience in payroll testing (SIT/UAT/parallel runs), data migration, and reconciliation
- Advanced Excel and reporting/BI tools for analytics and dashboards
- Strong stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and communication with senior leadership.
