Job Title: Payments & Remittance Operations (Maker) (12 months contract renewable/convertible to perm)

Role Summary:

Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of domestic and cross-border payments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and bank policies while delivering high-quality operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process and verify payment transactions
2. Investigate and resolve payment exceptions, delays, and discrepancies
3. Ensure compliance with AML/KYC and regulatory requirements
4. Monitor daily transaction queues and meet SLA timelines
5. Liaise with internal teams, correspondent banks, and clients on payment queries
6. Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate records
7. Support process improvements and automation initiatives

Requirements:

1. 1-3 years of relevant experience
2. Knowledge of SWIFT and payment systems
3. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
4. Good communication and stakeholder management
