Payment Rules & Policy AVP/VP, International Fintech

Our client, a global payments business with an ambitious growth agenda and a rapidly expanding partner ecosystem, is seeking a Payment Rules & Policy AVP/VP to strengthen their rules and governance capability.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the governance framework that underpins how partners operate within the network across partner onboarding standards, transaction processing rules, risk controls, and dispute management. You will be shaping the principles and structures that sit behind them. You will work across a wide range of internal functions including commercial, legal, risk, compliance, and product. You will ensure that new business initiatives are supported by sound, well-documented policy. This includes benchmarking against industry standards, anticipating regulatory considerations, and translating strategic priorities into clear and enforceable rules.

The ideal candidate brings around 7-10 years of payments experience, ideally spanning digital payments, acquiring, fraud, or risk management. You are a structured thinker with strong attention to detail, comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments, and able to communicate policy logic clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
