LazPay is Lazada’s payment business, which includes payments, wallet and Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL, or “Paylater”). This role will be responsible for all LazPay Singapore's existing major partnerships with banks, fintechs, and other BAU partnership activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with financial service providers, including banks, schemes, fintechs, and mobile wallet platforms, to enhance Lazada 's payment solutions.
- Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities, conducting market research and analysis to understand industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Negotiate partner investment and execute partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with LazPay's business goals and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with e-commerce cross functional teams including Commercial, Legal, Product and Campaign teams to deliver great customer propositions in platform campaigns leveraging partner funded promotions
- Monitor partnership and campaign performance, measure key metrics, and implement optimization strategies to maximize utilization of partner funding.
- Oversee end to end operational process from the start of of the partnership, execution of the campaign, and any post-campaign reconciliations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for experience in financial services or ecommerce.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in partnership or campaign management, preferably in the fintech, banks or e-commerce industry.
- Solid understanding of the global financial services landscape, including credit cards, mobile wallets, and digital payments.
- Proven track record in negotiating and closing deals with major financial institutions and fintech partners.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to achieve assigned KPIs
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing financial services partnerships and a keen eye for details.
