The Role
We are looking for a Payment BD Manager to join our fast-growing team. This is a result-oriented, KPI-driven role. We welcome only experienced candidates with a broad industry network who can contribute from Day 1 by onboarding new clients in the global payments market.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Sales & Merchant Acquisition: Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with merchants, payment service providers (PSPs), and fintech companies to promote and integrate our crypto payment solution Gate Pay.
- Market Expansion: Develop and implement strategies to enter new markets and industry verticals, using Gate Pay to solve existing pain points for various clients.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Lead projects end-to-end by working closely with legal, compliance, product, and development teams.
- Resource Management: Leverage your existing network and resources to facilitate introductions and partnerships that accelerate business growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in a Sales or Business Development role within the payments industry. Strong interest in Web3, blockchain, and crypto is required.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
- Established relationships with key stakeholders in banks, PSPs, and fintech companies across various regions.
- Self-starter, problem-solver, results-oriented, and capable of executing quickly in a dynamic environment.
