Patient Service Associate (Specialist Clinic)
Job Summary
As a Patient Service Associate, you will deliver friendly customer service and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for patients and aiming to provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Register patients and schedule appointments accurately to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Manage email, phone, and in-person enquiries to provide timely and clear information to patients
- Provide chaperone support to patients during consultations and procedures to ensure comfort and safety
- Prepare for and assist doctors with simple medical procedures to support clinical care
- Educate patients on treatment plans and explain financial options to help them understand costs and make informed decisions
- Prepare and dispense medications following clinic protocols to maintain patient safety
- Perform cashiering duties and complete daily financial settlements accurately to support clinic administration
- Maintain an organized and efficient clinic environment by collaborating with team members
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care
Required competencies and certifications
- Polytechnic Diploma, GCE A/O, Higher NITEC or NITEC qualification
- Ability to work effectively as a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Mandarin and Indonesian to communicate effectively with patients who speak these language
