The Patient Service Associate serves as the first point of contact for our patients ensuring a welcoming, seamless and reassuring experience during the patient journey at our Centre.
This role is responsible for managing front-desk registration, addressing patient inquiries, coordinating appointments, and supporting administrative and operational work as necessary.
1. Patient Interaction & Service
- Welcome and assist patients in a professional, courteous, warm manner.
- Uphold high standards of personal grooming and presentation, in alignment with the organization's image.
- Anticipate patient needs and provide proactive assistance to enhance their comfort and confidence.
- Assist patients with registration, payment, and appointment processes.
- Provide clear information about services, processes, and waiting times.
- Handle patient inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Ensure availability and operation of the necessary equipment (e.g. NETS/credit card, etc), supplies (e.g. medication, masks, stationery), and systems.
- Perform insurance/Medisave claims submission and verification of particulars and limits in various claims portal
2. Appointment & Administrative Coordination
- Schedule and confirm appointments using the clinic's system.
- Ensure accurate collection and entry of patient information and documentation.
- Process payments and issue receipts or invoices as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data in compliance with regulations.
3. Patient Feedback & Issue Resolution
- Receive and document patient feedback, complaints, or service issues.
- Resolve minor service issues promptly or escalate complex matters to the Centre Manager.
- Follow up with patients to ensure concerns are addressed satisfactorily
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in hospitality or healthcare customer service is preferred.
- Strong command of English proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Competent in basic computer applications and familiar with patient management systems.
- Friendly disposition with a customer-centric mindset
- Minimum GCE O Level or Diploma in any discipline.
