Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing patient experiences and seamless operational support in a healthcare setting. This role offers the opportunity to engage directly with patients while fostering the development of junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure clinic readiness by preparing reception and waiting areas for patient arrival. Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and care coordination for timely treatments. Implement infection control practices, including hand hygiene and safe use of personal protective equipment. Identify safety hazards within the healthcare environment and contribute to quality improvement projects. Communicate pre-test instructions to patients during confirmation calls. Address patient enquiries effectively while maintaining established service standards. Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation in alignment with hospital guidelines. Reconcile and track charges related to clinic services. Assist in developing departmental work processes and training junior staff for their roles. Perform core, basic, and intermediate clinical tasks while guiding junior staff in these procedures. Monitor the competency and performance of junior staff members. Prepare examination rooms, set up necessary equipment, and assist with minor procedures. Respond to emergency situations, overseeing junior staff during designated tasks. Facilitate patient education initiatives, providing guidance and advice post-procedure.

Requirements

  • GCE N Level or higher. A minimum of 3 years experience in the healthcare or service industry is preferred. Background in customer service will be an advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using new systems. A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work in various clinical settings and adaptability to shift work when necessary.
