Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patient care. Support patients with self-care needs, including mobility assistance and hygiene maintenance. Measure and record vital signs such as weight, temperature, and blood pressure as needed. Assist with meal orders, serving food and drinks, and feeding patients when necessary. Oversee the food pantry, ensuring proper storage and quality of food items. Implement infection control protocols, including hand hygiene and waste disposal practices. Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and document management. Report any patient observations or occurrences to the supervising nurse promptly. Uphold high housekeeping standards and maintain confidentiality in patient care matters. Remain informed of industry guidelines and acquire new skills as necessary. Undertake additional duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of GCE N Level or Certificate in Health Care Assistant or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar patient care role. Strong passion for serving patients with consideration and courtesy. High sense of responsibility for safety and care. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
