Prosecuting and maintaining patent applications outside of Singapore.
Preparing official documents for submission to foreign patent offices and clients.
Calculating and monitoring deadlines.
Providing simple patent-related advice including cost estimates to clients.
Ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
Good academic credentials (minimum diploma and above) and good communication skills in English (both written and spoken) are a must. Candidates who may not have the specified educational qualifications but who possess relevant experience are welcome.
Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office.
Good word processing and typing skills.
Hardworking and self-motivated.
A good team player who can work independently and under pressure.
Good time management and able to prioritize work well.
Able to put in extra time if needed for any urgent work.
Able to multi-task and deal with high volumes of work whilst working in a fast-paced environment when necessary.
Have an eye for details.
Fresh entrants into the industry and candidates without experience are welcome to apply. Such candidates should be willing to learn, be meticulous with details and record/data entry, and able to work with deadlines.
A qualification in Intellectual Property Law will be advantageous but not required.
