Patent Engineer

We are part of a more than 250 member strong international Intellectual Property (IP) law firm headquartered in Munich, with branch offices in Dusseldorf, Dresden and Taiwan in addition to Singapore. We serve a broad spectrum of clients including multinational conglomerates, Singapore companies, start-ups, academic institutions and public sector research institutes.

We have an exciting role available for a Patent Engineer in the electrical and/or electronics engineering and/or computer science and/or artificial intelligence and/or engineering field to join our Singapore team.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Patent Engineer

Successful candidate will preferably have:

. Degree in electrical and/or electronics engineering and/or computer science and/or engineering from a reputable university

. Completed Graduate Diploma/Master of IP and Innovation Management (GDIPIM/MIPIM)

. Passed one or more papers (A to D) for the Singapore Patent Agents Qualifying Examination

. Strong writing skills in English

. Good analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail

. Positive working attitude

. Keen interest in working towards patent attorney qualification in Singapore

. Two or more years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution.

A competitive salary package will be negotiated based on experience.
