Our client is a smart automotive technology company developing automotive-grade AI chips and integrated softwarehardware solutions for intelligent cockpits, cabindriving fusion, and on-device generative AI.
They are looking for a Patent Engineer to support their global R&D and manage international patent filings. This role involves identifying innovative technologies, building the patent portfolio, and providing IP guidance to R&D teams. Candidates should have experience in international patent applications and be fluent in English and Chinese.
Job Responsibilities
- Follow up on the development progress of the Singapore-based R&D team, identify innovative technologies, and develop the company's patent portfolio.
- Participate in international patent filings, particularly in China, Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea.
- Prepare responses to Office Actions (OA) during the patent application process in the above countries.
- Provide intellectual property training for R&D colleagues and respond to IP-related inquiries.
Job Requirements
- 35 years of experience in international patent application work.
- Familiar with patent searches, patent examination, patent portfolio management, and relevant patent laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of patent application procedures and policies in China, the United States, Europe, Japan, and South Korea.
- Bachelor's degree or higher; preferred fields include Computer Science, Automation, Vehicle Engineering, Electronics, or related disciplines.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
