Patent Attorney

We are part of a more than 250 member strong international Intellectual Property (IP) law firm headquartered in Munich, with branch offices in Dusseldorf, Dresden and Taiwan in addition to Singapore. We serve a broad spectrum of clients including multinational conglomerates, Singapore companies, start-ups, academic institutions and public sector research institutes.

We have an exciting role available for a candidate in the electrical/electronic/computer science/artificial intelligence/mechanical field to join our Singapore team.

The candidate's work will entail preparing patent specifications, in particular for US filing, filing and prosecution of patent applications to grant, as well as other matters related to intellectual property, in particular patents.

Successful candidate will preferably have:

. Degree in engineering and/or science and/or computer science from a reputable university

. A patent attorney qualification in one or more established jurisdiction, such as US, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, or Singapore

. Strong writing skills in English

. Good analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail

. Positive working attitude and

. Strong practical experience and knowledge in patent drafting for filing US patent application and handling US patent application

A competitive salary package will be negotiated based on experience.
