Patent Attorney

About Your Role:

We are currently seeking qualified Patent Attorneys (Associate / Senior Associate) to join our growing practice in our Singapore office. As a Patent Attorney, you will partner with renowned client organizations to protect their innovations in Life Sciences, Engineering, and/or Information and Communications Technology, grow your patent expertise across multiple jurisdictions, and build a long-term career in the Intellectual Property (IP) industry within a market-leading and award-winning (IP) service firm.

What You Will Do:

• Handling all aspects of the patent prosecution process
• Liaising with inventors and corporate clients
• Drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in Singapore, Asia and abroad

What You Bring:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in patents and drafting, with some industry and/or post-grad research experience.
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree and/or PhD in any of the following fields - Life Sciences, Engineering, and/or Information and Communications Technology.
• GDIPIM, Singapore PA registration or equivalent (e.g. UK, US, European) part qualified or qualified.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral).
• Candidates who are qualified in regions other than Singapore will also be considered.
