We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Sous Chef to support the bakery operations ofour new flagship outlet to contribute to the brand's commitment, in delivery high-quality,seasonal, and visually appealing bakery items that enhance the full caféexperience.
Job Responsibilities:
. Preparing viennoiserie, including sourdough, croissants, and assorted pastries.
. Support daily production for Elephant Grounds Singapore under guidance of Head Baker.
. Ensure consistency in product quality and presentation.
. Follow recipes and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
. Assist in R&D trials and seasonal bakery items when required.
. Learn and improve baking techniques through training and practice.
Job Requirement
. Minimum 2 years of experience in bakery or pastry productions, preferably in a café or bakery setting.
. Knowledge of artisanal bread and pastries, with required exposure to viennoiserie.
. Willingness to learn and follow instructions closely.
. Passion for baking, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
. Food Safety Certification required.
. Ability to work flexible hours/shift, including weekends and public holidays.
