Role overview:
We are looking for a Chef De Partie to manage a section of pastry production, primarily entremets, cakes, and takeaway items. Ensures quality control, efficiency, and smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
Lead production of entremets, cakes, and pastry items
Oversee and organise daily mise en place for the section
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
Monitor production timelines and output levels
Supervise and guide commis chefs
Troubleshoot production issues and maintain workflow
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation
Assist in R&D, recipe refinement, and seasonal menu changes
General cleaning duties of work station, supplies and equipment, etc.
Support inventory management and ordering
Guide and train interns and part timers
Requirements
Singaporean/ PR
Proven experience in pastry production (entremets experience preferred)
Strong technical knowledge of pastry fundamentals
Ability to manage a section independently
Good leadership and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency
Able to work efficiently under pressure
Ability to work on weekends and public holidays
