Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked products according to approved recipes and operational requirements
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning standards
  • Support daily food preparation and production schedules based on operational needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies and food safety regulations
  • Monitor stock levels, ingredient freshness, and proper storage practices
  • Minimise food wastage through proper planning and inventory control
  • Assist in menu preparation and seasonal product planning when required
  • Ensure bakery and kitchen equipment are used safely and maintained properly
  • Work closely with kitchen and operations teams to support daily service requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Support training and guidance for junior kitchen staff when assigned
  • Perform other duties assigned by management to support operational needs

    Key Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in bakery, pastry, food preparation, or kitchen operations
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage operational timelines effectively
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work responsibilities efficiently

  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required
