Overall Job Responsibility
The Deputy Director, Partnerships drives organisation-wide partnership outcomes that advance SG Enable's role as the focal agency for disability inclusion and position the organisation as a credible and trusted partner across sectors. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Partnerships, she leads the Consumer Inclusiveness portfolio to influence organisations and businesses to embed inclusion across products, services and everyday experiences. She provides strategic oversight of corporate partnerships through the Assistant Director of Corporate Partnerships, covering volunteerism, international relations and organisation-wide partnerships, to ensure partnerships are purposeful, well-governed and deliver measurable impact for persons with disabilities and the broader community.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership, Capability and Strategic Stewardship
- Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the Assistant Director and team to build strong partnership, stakeholder management and delivery capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative, outcome-driven and values-aligned team culture that reflects SG Enable's role as a credible and trusted partner.
- Support talent development and organisational readiness to sustain and scale partnership impact.
- Steward organisation-wide partnership intent by ensuring teams operate with shared standards, clarity of purpose and professional rigour.
Strategic Oversight of Partnerships and Ecosystem
- Provide strategic direction and oversight of organisation-wide partnerships, international relations and volunteerism through the Assistant Director of Corporate Partnerships.
- Ensure partnerships are purposeful, well-governed and aligned to organisational priorities, capacity and national inclusion outcomes.
- Guide the use of partnership frameworks, engagement models and performance indicators to drive coherence across the ecosystem.
Partnership Governance, Performance and Learning
- Establish and uphold robust governance, risk management and accountability mechanisms for partnerships.
- Monitor partnership performance and outcomes to ensure measurable value for persons with disabilities and the broader community.
- Embed evaluation, learning and continuous improvement into partnership planning and reporting.
Consumer Inclusiveness as an Organisational Product
- Set and drive the organisation-wide Consumer Inclusiveness strategy, ensuring alignment with SG Enable's mandate, enterprise priorities and partnership approach.
- Develop, curate and evolve consumer inclusiveness products, tools and offerings that support organisations and businesses to adopt inclusive practices.
- Influence and mobilise internal stakeholders to contribute expertise, capabilities and delivery support towards the development and scaling of consumer inclusiveness products.
- Engage and influence external stakeholders to adopt and apply these products across products, services and everyday consumer experiences, translating strategy into tangible, real-world impact for persons with disabilities.
Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience
- Degree in Business, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Communications, Public Administration or a related discipline
- At least 1012 years of relevant experience in partnerships, stakeholder management, strategy or ecosystem development, with demonstrated experience at a leadership level
- Proven track record in leading and governing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships across the public, private and people sectors
- Strong leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, including coaching, capability building and change management
- Demonstrated ability to design, steer and scale organisation-wide partnership strategies aligned to organisational and national priorities.
- Experience overseeing diverse partnership portfolios, including corporate, international or volunteer-based initiatives.
- Sound experience in partnership governance, risk management, performance monitoring and evaluation.
- Ability to translate strategy into practical products, tools or offerings that enable organisations and businesses to adopt inclusive or user-centred practices.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the credibility to work effectively with senior leaders, businesses and community partners.
- Purpose-driven, values-led and committed to advancing disability inclusion, with strong judgement, integrity and resilience.
